Michael Green’s 20/20 Challenge

Filed under: general, seo, $100 a day Challenge — rSavige @ 12:58 am

When I saw Michael Green’s 20/20 Challenge I jumped at the chance to buy it. My biggest downfall as an internet marketer has been my inability to put together and market a product of my own. I can sell other people’s products, but I’ve never put together all the things necessary to create and sell my own stuff. I was a bit dubious about forking out a few hundred dollars again, but the guarantee coupled with Michael’s reputation convinced me.

Michael has put together an incredible offer with the 2020 challenge… there’s no affiliate link there, and it is still at the pre-launch price. Michael has it at reduced price for just 2 more day’s, then it will go to $497 I believe.

I’ve read through the 250 page manual and this is the laydown dropdead best blueprint I’ve ever seen… I have no doubt that I can make $20,000 in the next 20 day’s using this blueprint of Michael’s. It is a “Step by Step” manual with every single chore laid out so that for a few hours a day for 20 days I can do EXACTLY what his sales page says… “Make $20,000 in 20 day’s”

I can’t tell you everything about the 20/20 Challenge system, but I can tell you it revolves around finding and rebranding or creating a product to make it your own, generating your sales page/letter and locating joint venture partners and affiliates to help sell your product He even goes into putting a payment processing and product delivery system in place.

Some questions you may ask…

  • Does this use PPC to drive traffic? … no, but you may do so to test your sales letter if you wish.
  • What other expenses will I have if I buy this course? … a Domain name and webhosting. You may need to pay an Elancer to rebrand your product, but not necessarily so, and that costs very little anyway. Michael say’s on his sales page…
“This is a self-contained toolkit. It includes absolutely everything you’ll need to succeed. With the only exception being a float of around ten bucks and a domain and webserver space”.
  • Michael offers an extra 20 products you can rebrand as you fill out the sales form, is it worth buying them? … yes and no. It’s up to you. I bought them, and they are good value, and if you do buy them, you’ll have enough products to keep you busy for 12 months… that could potentially earn you over $500,000 if you use them all.

The bottom line is that if you don’t make $20,000 in 57 days (not 20), you can ask for a full refund, but I doubt anyone will do that.

The Landing Page System

Glen Barnhardt has launched a program that I think will change the way many of us do our internet marketing. Maybe not the real experienced people, but those who are looking for something to replace adsense for our passive online income.

I’ve been making a good money lately with lead generation… sending visitors to squeeze pages where their details are gathered, and they are offered products to either buy, or they are redirected to a merchant who hopefully gets their details (mortgage, credit card and insurance sites) If they fill out the form on that page I get a thankyou payment… generally around $45-$50.

One of the challenges has been in making sales, landing and squeeze pages that the search engines like, especially since the infamous Google Slap.

Glen’s new product is called The Landing Page System, and it really is a fantastic system.

Some of the very cool features include:

  • You run it on your own site… there’s NO montly fees!
  • It dynamically inserts tracking code into affiliate links.

  • It dynamically inserts keywords into your landing page.

  • The Landing System works great for opt-in squeeze pages too!

Bottom line: it saves time & increases profits.

My $100 a day Challenge Is Over

Well… for me the official part of the $100 a day challenge is over… actually it was over last week. My 90 days saw me build one complete new website, and start another 4 which are in various stages of being completed. Who’s to say when a website is completed? I don’t think they’re ever complete myself.

  • Bottom line… Was I successful in achieving my goal of making of $100 a day from adsense? … no.
  • Was I successful in making $100 a day from new projects on the Internet? … YES, and a very resounding YES YES YES!

I have well and truly been earning over $100 a day from a new project started within my 90 days. Actually, it was started only about 5 weeks ago.

I’m always looking for affiliate programs to promote on my new websites, and that’s how I came across the Ezy-FX site. I was looking for a program for my dx currency articles pages. I already had another Currency Exchange training program advertized on them, but I wanted something else.

Ezy-FX teaches you how to trade foreign currencies - yen, euro, pound, dollar, etc. You can trade currencies whenever you want, 24 hours a day 5½ days a week. Anyway, I looked into this FX Training program, and I got excited… I saw a way to set myself free from the drudgery of working for someone else 5 days a week, 52 weeks of the year.

And because I needed to join in order to promote it, I decided to learn what they are training as well. Plenty of people join just to build a referral income, because it pays so well… they pay out over 80% of their total revenue back to the members. Now that in and of itself, is a good enough reason to join. However I started talking with some successful members who were trading the Forex with what they were learning, and that’s what got me in.

So, three weeks after joining, I opened a live trading account and I started applying what I was learning…

The bottom line is that I’m making well over $100 a day clear profit from momentum trades alone, (it’s more like $200 a day now) and it will only get better and better as I learn day and swing trading techniques.

What have I learned from this 90 day Challenge started by Nadav?

1. I’ve learned how easily I’m distracted.
2. Distractions can be a blessing in disguise.
3. I’m hopeless at meeting deadlines.
4. Each night I need to make a “to do” list for the next day.

I hope everyone else achieved something from their challenge, or at least learned something from it.

Nadav, congratulations on starting this thing off. I know it grew into much more than you anticipated, but that’s the nature of the Internet I think.

I now have 5 new websites to work on over the coming months if I get the time, and I’ve got a fast growing FX Training business, and Forex Trading account that is ballooning in size very fast. I’m looking forward to retiring from my “JOB” within 5 or 6 weeks, and going trading full-time.

$100 a day Forex Trading

Forex trading looks like a better option for earning $100 a day, rather than promoting search engine optimization, contact lenses, PDA’s, pills, potions and powders.

Trading on the foreign exchange market is a massive industry, turning over around $2 trillion a day… and all I want is $100 of it. I’ve got another blog - DX Currency Trades - that I was promoting DX Gold with, but now I’m switching to Forex Training as a means of earning a good affiliate income. I don’t know whether to start a new website, or just switch topics on that website. It won’t be difficult because I have about 50 articles on currency exchange and forex trading on that website already. It gets about 100 - 150 visitors a day, so now all I need to do is to change the content on my homepage and the ads that I run throughout the site.

$100 a day update 1st May

Filed under: general, blogging, seo, $100 a day Challenge — rSavige @ 12:10 pm

My $100 a day project is not going as well as I had hoped. However, I have discovered some things about myself and what I’m doing wrong in the process.

  • I’ve got too many things happening at the same time
  • I spend too much time in forums
  • I get sidetracked very easily
  • I’ve taken on more than I can chew
  • I allow the ‘little’ things get in the way

I’m building too many new websites at once. I’m working on 4 of Dr Andy’s blueprint sites, and 2 that I researched myself. They are all content sites begun in the last 6 weeks. At the same time I’m dealing with 3 ghost writers, compiling keyword lists for them, and editing their completed work. Although I’m using Content Publisher to put the articles up to the sites, there is still quite a bit of work in setting it up (still a beta version)

Another issue I’ve had is losing Adsense income for no apparent reason. I let it worry me, and have spent about 4 full days trying to figure out what is happening, all to no avail. Google support were no help, so I guess it’s just the swings and sways of the game. However to drop to one tenth of the previous income in only 2 days is rather strange.

I spend a few hours a day in some good forums… Dr Andys, Jeff Aldersons’ and John Reeses. While that’s not a bad thing, it can easily lead to distractions. For instance someone will ask how to do something, and if I know, I will take the time to post an answer. this often leads to getting sidetracked into researching things they could have easily done themselves.

New softwares… I am a sucker for new ideas, and spend too much on buying new things… although I’m getting better at deciding if I really need them. One I fell for this week is XSite Pro, which has a 300+ page pdf eBook to wade through… I’m on about page 30 so far. I wanted it as soon as I saw it promoted, but I held off for 5 days before finally succumbing and buying it.

If it lives up to the promo blurb, it will make my life a lot easier, but we’ll see. I won’t hestitate to ask for a refund if it doesn’t do all they say.

Back to my Challenge progress… MSN seems to be indexing my new pages faster than Yahoo and Google. Yahoo indexes my blog pages and static pages at the same time, while MSN only indexes the static pages at this time. Google Indexes the Index and Sitemap pages first, then comes back and indexes a whole whack off from the sitemap page links.

As I’ve said so many times, using a blog is the best way to get indexed. I don’t submit my new sites or pages to the search engines, and these last lot, I’ve not submitted to directories, nor have I submitted to article directories either as yet. I’m pissed at article directories, as my articles end up being published on multiple websites as scraped content, with my links removed. I have found one article in a dozen other websites so far, and only one live back link from the lot.

RSS feeds into Blogs

Filed under: general, blogging, seo, rss, $100 a day Challenge — rSavige @ 2:54 am

Another thing I’ve done to this website/blog is I’ve found a mob that have put together a live RSS feed that displays in HTML… that’s it in the sidebar on the right. About 4 or 5 news articles. I don’t know how often they update the articles as yet, but it’ll do until I find something better.

They do have a few links that go with the feed, but it’s a small price to pay if the feeds refresh every few days.

This version of WordPress I’m using has my “categories” RSS linked if you want to follow them without visiting all the time. For instance, if you just want my “$100’s a day” news, copy the RSS address from the little orange RSS tag thingumyjig in the “Categories” menu, and enter it into your feed reader. Then whenever I add a new article here to do with the Challenge, it will display in your feed reader… too kewl.

Speaking of the Challenge, it’s time for an update… later. I’ve got to get on a conference right now.

Reading Glasses

Google has at last indexed my main page and now. Next visit should see the Gogglebot begin the crawl of my article pages. I’ve got more articles on order for this site for delivery early next week.

Speaking of Google… my adsense on this site went through the roof today for some reason. Normally nobody clicks the ads here, but today my visitors went on a clickin’ spree… don’t you hate that?

This is Karma or something… I started a new website on Contact Lenses and Vision last week, and this week I need a new set of Mmmm… anyways, I went into town today and had my eyes tested. I found that they’ve deteriorated slightly in the 5 years since the last test. The tests showed that my distance vision has deteriorated. My Warren has a 2 for 1 deal on eye glasses, so I’m getting two pairs… one for reading and one for driving.

$100 a Day Challenge Update

My $100 a day challenge update - there’s not a lot to report.

I’ve now got a site uploaded and ready to fire. It was started a week or two ago. I originally put up a barebones site structure of 6 pages, home page, sitemap and articles page with SEO website builder.

Only the home page and one other page had content for 2 weeks, but MSN and Yahoo both indexed a few pages. Googlebot has visited, but there was not enough content to interest it I’d say… dammit.

That’s all changed now… this site now comprises 7 main pages and 48 articles. The 7 main pages are based on high competition keywords - bi-focal contact lenses, soft contact lenses, colored contact lenses etc, while the articles are all based on low competition pages… these are keywords with less than 5,000 competing pages. The secondary keywords in these articles have even less competition… under 250 competing pages, with some having less than ten.

I’m running only Adsense ads on the article pages, and on the 7 main pages. The idea is that if the articles don’t interest them they’ll leave the site via adsense. If the article does interest them and they want to know more, they’ll visit my home page, and find my affiliate pages from there. It’s a sort of filtering process I guess.

I used to put the articles on the server… it is still not released to the public, but believe me, when it is, it will . Anyone who builds content sites or sites in the mold, will jump all over this.

I’ve got another 75 articles ready to build another website with, but I need to register a Domain name and organise hosting first. I’ll do that tomorrow, and start to work on the main pages for that website.

I’ve taken a week off work because I’ve got a virus in my throat, so I should be able to build 3 or 4 new websites this week, all with at least 50 pages of content… I hope. I’ve got the keyword lists already, it’s just a matter of getting the articles organised.

$100 a day… article writers

I’ve found one very good writer who will work for a very reasonable rate, and says she can produce 100 articles a week. That’s great, now I just need one more writer to do the same, and I’m set.

I uploaded 100 pages of content Thursday and Saturday, and my Adsense income has already started to surge up. Not on my new sites at this stage though. It has doubled on one established site, in the last 2 days.

I beta tested a new product from Andy Williams with these articles… it is called Content Publisher, and all I can say is WOW!

Look out for the public release, possibly in the next week.
