$100 a day Forex Trading

Forex trading looks like a better option for earning $100 a day, rather than promoting search engine optimization, contact lenses, PDA’s, pills, potions and powders.

Trading on the foreign exchange market is a massive industry, turning over around $2 trillion a day… and all I want is $100 of it. I’ve got another blog - DX Currency Trades - that I was promoting DX Gold with, but now I’m switching to Forex Training as a means of earning a good affiliate income. I don’t know whether to start a new website, or just switch topics on that website. It won’t be difficult because I have about 50 articles on currency exchange and forex trading on that website already. It gets about 100 - 150 visitors a day, so now all I need to do is to change the content on my homepage and the ads that I run throughout the site.

Sunday Night Dinner

Filed under: general — rSavige @ 6:35 pm

Sunday night, and I’m cooking dinner… alone. Yeppers, it’s just me and my computer. So what’s cooking then?

Stir-fry steak and veg, cajun style… well, cajun flavoured anyway.

  • 2 small onions
  • a tablespoon of olive oil… extra virgin
  • a piece of scotch fillet steak, sliced into stir-fry sized pieces
  • 2 cups of unsalted chicken stock
  • ½ a red capsicum chopped up
  • 1 cup of brocoli, broken into small flowerettes
  • 2 large portabello mushrooms, roughly chopped
  • a tablespoon of cajun seasoning
  • a teaspoon of worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups of water

I just add everything to a deep frypan on high heat in the order above as I prepare it. If it dry’s out too much I chuck in a cup of water. Generally done by the time the stock and 2 cups of water have boiled almost away.

I got some boiled brown rice in the fridge, a cup of that goes into a deep bowl, chuck the cooked stuff on top and bobs your uncle.

Now that’s good tucka, mate, except there’s always too much, so I eat stir-fry beef and veg tomorrow night as well!

On The road Again

I’ve just spent an hour reading at the roadtoforbes.com… interesting irreverant “take no prisoners” style of shit. He seems to try to drive you away, but for some reason I like the way the nut writes, and I like what he writes… ummm, I assume jscott is a he.

Seems there’s not very many women write on the net… now why is that?

Web Conference Room For $1

Filed under: general — rSavige @ 3:15 pm

I don’t remember if I’ve posted about the web conferencing software from Hot Conference before or not. I’ve been using this web conferencing tool for about 3 months now.

Web conferencing services like this normally run to hundreds of dollars a month for a single room, but you can try this for only $1, and get 5 rooms, with no restrictions on the number of people in the room.

You can run live seminars covering topics of your choice to an unlimited audience in real-time, with audio and video, including white-board, without long distance charges and there are no hidden add-on fee’s. It is ideal for MLM people… the biggest killer for me when I tried MLM was the cost of long distance phone calls.

AS a bonus, Hot Conference have a great affilliate program which amazingly pays out over 90%… yes 90+%

This offer is only available until Monday, so if you want to get 5 conference rooms for a dollar for a month, click here now!

Search Engine Optimization - SEO - links

Filed under: general, seo — rSavige @ 1:12 am

Today I visited a large number of SEO - Search engine Optimization - websites that I’ve never seen before, and I just had to share. Here are three of them… they specialize in Articles, a book, and everything else.

The first I visited is Webmaster Articles, they have the very best Webmaster articles on SEO, web design, search engines and HTML that I’ve seen in a long time. I’ll be spending some time there this week, to see what new SEO tips I can pick up.

Another interesting website I visited… The Website Promotion Book is a website to teach beginners about website promotion, internet marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and Increase Website Traffic, surely a must read for all newbie website owners.

If you wish to find the best in Search Engine Optimization- SEO Courses, Resources & Tools is a must see site. It is run by Matt Garrett, a young guy who is going to become a well known name in this game I feel.

Link Metro Link Exchange Directory

Filed under: general, seo — rSavige @ 5:15 pm

In cruizing around on the SEO neighborhoods I came across what looks to be a very good link exchange site. Link Metro has a very easy to use link exchange interface and submission request form.

They list about a dozen websites per page that are actively looking to exchange links , with thumbnails, Google page rank, discription etc. A lot of the thumbnails are not up, but that may be because the sites are new additions, I don’t know. LinkMetro have only got a PR3 themselves, however they may be fairly new, who knows. They are well worth a look though.

$100 a day update 1st May

Filed under: general, blogging, seo, $100 a day Challenge — rSavige @ 12:10 pm

My $100 a day project is not going as well as I had hoped. However, I have discovered some things about myself and what I’m doing wrong in the process.

  • I’ve got too many things happening at the same time
  • I spend too much time in forums
  • I get sidetracked very easily
  • I’ve taken on more than I can chew
  • I allow the ‘little’ things get in the way

I’m building too many new websites at once. I’m working on 4 of Dr Andy’s blueprint sites, and 2 that I researched myself. They are all content sites begun in the last 6 weeks. At the same time I’m dealing with 3 ghost writers, compiling keyword lists for them, and editing their completed work. Although I’m using Content Publisher to put the articles up to the sites, there is still quite a bit of work in setting it up (still a beta version)

Another issue I’ve had is losing Adsense income for no apparent reason. I let it worry me, and have spent about 4 full days trying to figure out what is happening, all to no avail. Google support were no help, so I guess it’s just the swings and sways of the game. However to drop to one tenth of the previous income in only 2 days is rather strange.

I spend a few hours a day in some good forums… Dr Andys, Jeff Aldersons’ and John Reeses. While that’s not a bad thing, it can easily lead to distractions. For instance someone will ask how to do something, and if I know, I will take the time to post an answer. this often leads to getting sidetracked into researching things they could have easily done themselves.

New softwares… I am a sucker for new ideas, and spend too much on buying new things… although I’m getting better at deciding if I really need them. One I fell for this week is XSite Pro, which has a 300+ page pdf eBook to wade through… I’m on about page 30 so far. I wanted it as soon as I saw it promoted, but I held off for 5 days before finally succumbing and buying it.

If it lives up to the promo blurb, it will make my life a lot easier, but we’ll see. I won’t hestitate to ask for a refund if it doesn’t do all they say.

Back to my Challenge progress… MSN seems to be indexing my new pages faster than Yahoo and Google. Yahoo indexes my blog pages and static pages at the same time, while MSN only indexes the static pages at this time. Google Indexes the Index and Sitemap pages first, then comes back and indexes a whole whack off from the sitemap page links.

As I’ve said so many times, using a blog is the best way to get indexed. I don’t submit my new sites or pages to the search engines, and these last lot, I’ve not submitted to directories, nor have I submitted to article directories either as yet. I’m pissed at article directories, as my articles end up being published on multiple websites as scraped content, with my links removed. I have found one article in a dozen other websites so far, and only one live back link from the lot.
