PG Insider Magic Builder

Filed under: general, seo — rSavige @ 5:10 pm

The new PG Insider Magic Builder, claimed to be the “Most Powerful Site-Building Application on the Planet” is being released on tomorrow (29th May 07). PGI went underground 3 or 4 months ago following a period of expansion.

Changes in the search engine algorithms had made a lot of the Portal Building products on the Internet become less effective and the training and materials from PI Insider were no different. They decided to close the doors and reinvent themselves, and the release of Magic Builder is the first step. I never did develop any sites with the info from PGI even though I’ve been a member since July last year. I’ll use Magic Builder to develop a site and post the results in this blog.

Incuded in the PGI Magic Builder package is:

  • NicheQuake… in-depth niche marketing training for your long-term online profits
  • SEO training
  • Outsourcing Training - learn how to turn your business over to a trusted manager, so you can focus on other projects
  • Beyond AdSense - a crash-course in business diversification
  • Learn how to easily do Email Marketing, List Building and make Backend Sales
  • Create your own eBooks and Software and learn to market them through your portal sites

Remember, this opens in about 10 hours from when I made this post… This is a TEST .

The Weight Loss Gal

Filed under: general, blogging — rSavige @ 12:49 pm

I’m starting a website on losing weight, staying healthy and keeping fit called The Weight Loss Gal. I’m concerened at the amount of fatties I see when I go into town.

Fat overweight people are everywhere I look. Why is that? Twenty years ago weight control was not such an issue, and 40 years ago it was unusual to see grossly overweight people. Today they are everywhere… and not just adults either. Kids today are massivly overweight, and that’s a sad thing to see.

My new website/blog will focus on weight control, healthy living ang fitness. I’m starting out with a blog, but will expand it into a portal covering all aspects of health and fitness. My first few posts are concentrating on my experience in animals and weight control. Please go take a look and tell me what you think. You can leave a comment, post a trackback or whatever… the address again is at The WeightLossGal.com

Dayjob Killer Top Result In Google

Filed under: general, seo — rSavige @ 4:58 am

I made this post about DayJob Killer a few days ago… here’s a copy of it:

Just out of curiosity I decided to track how my post on Day Job Killer does in Googles search results.

I posted the article “day job killer hype” about 12 hours ago and I’m already at number 71 in google search engine for the term Day Job Killer Hype… that’s not bad considering there’s 1.14 million results for that term.

My aim is to get into the top 10 within a week or two, and into the top 20 for “day job killer” … that’s against over 16 million pages.

Ok, well I’ve succeeded way beyond what I expected to do…

It has taken me less than a week to get #1 for:

day job killer hype
day job killer review results
day job killer test results

I’m now #7 for day job killer review

I’m #25 for day job killer… and that one is out of over 16 million results. Top 20 looks like a given now. Let’s go for a top ten position within another week for “day job killer

Perry Marshall’s Definitive Guide to Google Adwords

Filed under: general, seo — rSavige @ 12:13 am

I just bought The Definitive Guide to Google AdWords by Perry Marshall. I should have bought it 4 years ago, but kept putting it off for some reason (actually, I had no money). If I’d bought it back then, I’d have saved myself about $900 that I lost trying Adwords. I got burnt so bad I never tried driving PPC traffic again.

Perry Marshall is synonymous with Google Adwords… he is the Pay Per Click (PPC) guru who defined how to make money with Adwords Ads. He’s developed an Internet Advertising strategy that is a systematic and predictable cash flow generator.

He explains how to get more vistors by spending less money, even though more bidders are entering the PPC arena every day.

Since I started using his book my Adwords Click Through Rate has gone from less than 1% up to an average of over 9% in only 24 hours. I’ve only just started implimenting his techniques, I can’t wait to get into the more advanced stuff he teaches.

Using the Russell Wrights Theme Zoom to get keywords and build Silo’s, Portal Feeder 2.0 or Andy Williams SEO Website Builder to build sites and Perrys Definative Guide to Google Adwords in conjunction with Day Job Killer to drive traffic, is a potent mix that can only succeed… IF you use the tools, that is.

Mix in James Brauschs products to tweak your sites and you can’t lose.

Day Job Killer Test Results

Filed under: general, blogging — rSavige @ 2:55 pm

Going well with my search engine placements in Google with this blog. My little test here on how well I place with Day Job Killer is very interesting.

My first post was titled Day Job Killer Hype and in Google I’m at number 13 of 1.19 million results in less than 24 hours for that term. I was at number 9 an hour ago, so these results do fluctuate a lot and very fast.

For Day Job Killer Review I’m at number 87 out of 7.2 million results.

For the very targeted Day Job Killer I’m at 109 of 16.4 million… an hour ago I was at 267.

Day Job Killer

Filed under: general, blogging — rSavige @ 3:25 am

Well, I decided to purchase Day Job Killer (DJK) based mainly on the price and partly on the “hype” of the sales letter. DJK is a sequel to Affiliate Project X which made a squillion in sales for Chris McNeeney last year, but was not all it was hyped up to be… it contained a lot of fluff and filler.

However Day Job Killer is different; he gets straight into the nitty gritty and starts giving out surprisingly good information and SEO tips right away. The tactics are downright dirty and will make a lot of money for those willing to implement them. I found several techniques I’d never heard of or even thought possible before reading them here.

In Direct X Linking he has re-invented the Google Cash method of driving Adwords traffic to the merchants. You don’t need landing pages, squeeze pages or even any knowledge of html… this is pure direct linking in action.

Campaign Nuking explains how to steal Adwords campaigns from other advertisers (I use Undercover Profits for this) and how you underbid them.

His “Leveller” technique is going to upset the “guru’s” of affiliate marketing. He explains how to steal their customers and use those people to build your own laser targeted list of customers. It’s an enhanced version of his “Leech” from Affiliate Project X.

There’s also the Undercutter, Media Manslaughter and Cheapskate Undertaker methods in there.

I have not started a campaign with these techniques as yet, but I will be in the next day or so.

Day Job Killer Hype

There’s a lot of hype out about this Kill Your Day Job book or membership or whatever it is. Sounds too good to be true, but who knows?

Comment Spam

Filed under: general, blogging, seo — rSavige @ 2:04 am

Comment Spam… how the hell do I handle this blog spam. I have comments turned off but I still get 700 to 800 spam comments daily on this blog. I don’t know how they are doing it, all I can think is that someone has hacked into the site and has a robot posting the comments.

Does this make my blog a splog I wonder? I don’t even know what a Splog is.

James Brausch turned off comments a few months ago. Michel Fortin has started using a plugin called Comment Timeout that is supposed to block comment spam. He also uses Akismet which I’ve got on some of my newer blogs.

SEO Easy is a version 1.5 of WordPress, so I think I may have to work out how to update it somehow… that may help. Then again it may stuff a good blog.
