My post to be the coolest guy on the planet got to number 37 in just 2 days… courtesy I’m sure of the PR6 value on my blog. Sometimes I wonder at how much these freaking “experts” at SEO really know.

Obviously it’s not that difficult to rank well for any term you can think of if your site has good PR in Google.

EDIT: I’m the 18th coolest guy on the planet in only 7 days… mmmmmmmmm.

… I wonder if SEO-easy.com can rank for that search term. It seems there’s been an SEO race on for a few years to see who is the coolest guy on the planet according to Google and at the moment I posted this article about the coolest guy on the planet, that person was J o n a t h o n L e g e r.

A search in “quotes” for “coolest guy on the planet” will show that B r a d F a l l o n is the number 1 in Google, and M i k e F i l s a i m e is doing very well also.

There are a few guys proving that black hat techniques perform OK also, however the white hats are on top still. All I’m doing is making this one post. I can’t take advantage of comments as I have comments disabled due to getting over 600 spam comments daily, which is not cool, regardless of whether it’s on a planet or not.

Postscript… James Brausch is a scammer. He sells products that have ABSOLUTELY NO AFTER SALES SUPPORT.

Ask anyone about products with high affiliate commission rates and you would be hard pressed to find anything better than the James Brausch Letter.

There is no doubt in my mind that the James Brausch Letter carries one of the highest affiliate commissions out there at $270 for a $300 product. The $300 is for the newsletter which is posted as a mail item in the regular post. This is not a downloadable email, it is a genuine letter.

People often ask me what are the highest paying affiliate programs and where can they find them. These people are usually newbies to affiliate marketing and they just don’t know how difficult it is to compete in those markets, which include finance, gambling and porn, to name a few.

Affiliate marketing itself is another very competitive field, and the one most newbies try to break into first.

The most common way for newbies to do affiliate marketing is through selling clickbank products. They don’t need to buy the products, all they do is advertize their affiliate link and hope to make a sale. Most clickbank products have commissions of 40% to 50%, but some go as high as 75% per sale. The main problem with this is that they don’t have 1st hand experience with what they are selling and the reader generally can pick up on this and so they make very few sales.
